FAQs
What nonprofits do you work with?
We work with a cadre of nonprofits, specifically health care and social care organizations. We also work with rural health networks and associations. In all instances, our goal is to help increase access to quality care and social support initiatives that advance whole-person care.
How can we partner with Altruism Media, Inc.?
Partnerships with Altruism Media start with a conversation. We’d be more than happy to schedule an in-person visit, a Zoom chat, or a telephone call. Please contact us or call one of our locations to schedule a meeting.
How will you become an extension of our nonprofit?
We work very carefully to be an asset to a nonprofit’s current team in a way that does not duplicate efforts but instead offers an expertise that is needed to meet a particular goal. We are able to scale up or down to meet the needs of our nonprofits. We believe in working with heart, and in a spirit of service. Our team would integrate with the nonprofit’s team in a way that makes sense and enables the nonprofit to flourish.
What is your fee structure?
Our fees are structured based on a client’s budget. For nonprofits without a budget, we will help them find funds to support their initiative. In some instances, we will also donate our time.
Do you have 501(c)(3) tax exempt status?
Yes, we are a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization.
Describe your background serving rural nonprofits.
Through our sister company, Grace Advertising & Consulting, Inc., we have been heavily active in serving rural health care entities, networks, and associations in rural Missouri. We understand both the incredible benefits of living and working in a rural community as well as the many challenges as it relates to health equity, food and transportation deserts, health professional shortages, hospital closures, and other social determinants that compromise access to quality care.
How do you provide targeted programming?
Our approach to developing targeted programs includes:
- Partnering with local organizations and other nonprofits to educate communities on the resources available to them to receive better health and social care.
- Providing education on a variety of health and social issues and the impact they have on an individual’s health and well-being.
- Offering programs specifically dedicated to improving social determinants of health and access to health and social care to create healthier communities.
- Empowering communities to take advantage of the available tools and resources to improve their health and well-being, especially with regards to preventative measures. We look for gaps and find ways to fill them in through partnerships with health care, social care, and community-based organizations.
